The purpose of this Quasi-experimental research was to compare the effectiveness between conventional eyes patch and the contact love eyes patch in hyperbilirubinemia infant receiving phototherapy. Purposive sampling was used to recruit the sample, which included 25 dyads of mother-infant on phototherapy in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Infants used conduct love eyes patch was developed by researcher, verified and edited by 3 experts. The questionnaire consisted of the demographic data and the effectiveness of eyes patch questionnaire. Content validity indices of effectiveness of contact love eyes patch 0.85. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient’ reliability was 0.89. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and t-test.</p> <p>The results revealed that after used the innovation, mean score of effectiveness in contact love eyes patch was significant higher than conventional eyes patch in all dimensions as followings: 1) Mean score of maintain standard 2) Mean score of frugality found and 3) Mean score of satisfaction.</p> <p>These findings suggest that the contact love eyes patch was effective for use during hyperbilirubinemia infant.
