The surveillance for associated risk factors can prevent the incidence of disease. A historical cohort study was conducted to determine the incidence, associated risk factors  and prognostic factors of MAS. The medical records of newborn with meconium-stained amniotic fluid (MSAF) were reviewed at Kratumbaen hospital during September 2019 to December 2020.  A total of 299 MSAF newborn were enrolled. The incidence of MAS was 11.4 % of MSAF. Six cases of MAS died (17.6%). The most complication of MAS was PPHN (20.6%). The associated risk factors of MAS were moderate meconium (OR= 8.75 , 95%CI 3.38-22.62), thick meconium (OR=21.43 , 95%CI 7.41-61.99), APGAR score at 1 min &lt; 7 (OR=4.91 , 95%CI= 1.36 -17.77). The poor prognostic factor of MAS was PPHN (OR=65, 95%CI 4.91- 861.45).</p> ER -
