The samples were 80 Thai Muslim with Hypertension. The questionnaire was validated by the experts and test reliability by coefficient alpha of 0.85. The data was analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed that the samples were female (75.2%), mean age 60.57 years. There is 96.7% having family history of genetic disorder and 37.2 % were obese. Health promotion behaviors were a good level (=3.44, S.D.=0.47. Predictors of health promoting behaviors of Thai Muslims with hypertension were followed by interpersonal influence (beta = 0.43), age (beta = 0.061), body mass index (beta = -0.045), Perceived barriers to health promoting behaviors (beta =-1.611) and perceived benefits of health promoting behaviors (beta = 0.014). All factors could explain health promoting behaviors of Thai Muslim with hypertension about 23% of the variance (R<sup>2</sup> = 0.23). This study suggested that Interpersonal Influences factor could be the basis for promoting a healthy way to fit the lifestyle of the Thai Muslim.</p> ER -
