Abstract

Abstract

Background: Creating an emergency room model for a community hospital in the province of Songkhla. It's a way of providing quick, standardized care to patients in need. Including raising client satisfaction levels when obtaining services

Objectives: To create a model for the treatment of patients seen in emergency rooms in community hospitals in the province of Songkhla. Analyze the effectiveness of the treatment as well as the accessibility of it. including contentment with the services obtained

Materials & Methods: The action study was conducted out in a community hospital in the province of Songkhla between October 1, 2023, and April 30, 2024.

Results: There were 386 participants in this study overall. The treatment waiting time was discovered to be equivalent to the Australian waiting time norm. However, it was discovered that the services rendered in accordance with this model had a noticeably shorter time duration for patients in general (White patients) (p-value=0.00). When comparing the first 24-hour death rate of level 1 emergency patients receiving hospital care to the six months before to the project's commencement, there is a tendency for the rate to decline (p-value=0.11). Overall, there was a high level of satisfaction with the community hospital's emergency room services. The following variables have an impact on customer satisfaction in all areas of the service: hospitals receiving services (p-value=0.00), waiting times (p-value=0.00), and emergency medical knowledge (p-value=0.00).

Conclusions: The death rate for level 1 emergency patients getting hospital services during the first 24 hours can be decreased by creating a care model for ER patients at community hospitals in Songkhla Province. There was a standard waiting period before receiving care. & Songkhla Province's community hospital emergency room services are highly regarded.
