Efficiency of Financing Administration of Community Hospital Nongbua Lamphu Province

Abstract

Objective: This aims to analyze financial situation, financial liquidity, resource and management efficiency, and predictive factors of financial risk of community hospital Nong Bua Lam Phu province.

Materials & methods: Evaluation analytical research was to comparative study between the year 2020 and 2021. The method was purposive sampling consisted of 75 personnel in September 2021. Instruments used: financial reports and questionnaires. Statistics: percentages, averages and Stepwise multiple linear regression.

Results : indicated that financial situation in 2021, overall service income was 121.15 MBs, more than 2020 (116.54 MBs), and expenses were 121.41 MBs, more than in 2020 (4.87 MBs). Overall current liabilities of community hospitals in 2021 average 37.00 MBs, more than in 2020 (34.05 MBs). Cash balance in 2021 averages negative 9.24 MBs, less than 2020 (-13.41 MBs). Financial liquidity was higher than the specified criteria by 2 out of 3 ratios; Quick Ratio (≥1) in 2021, an average= 1.22 and Cash ratio (≥0.8), an average= 0.80. In 2021 overall, Community Hospitals are at low risk (mean risk score 1.20) lower than in 2020 (mean risk score 3.0). No risk was Nonsang hospital and Suwannakhuha hospital, low risk there were Na Klang hospital, Si Bun Rueang hospital, Na Wang hospital, respectively. Efficiency of financing Administration and overall financial situation can predict 36% influence on the risk score level (R2adj.=0.36, p=0.024), Able to predict the influence on the risk score level of 4 factors, namely current liabilities (R2adj.=0.32, p=0.008), Current ratio (R2adj.= 0.24, p-value =0.016), Cash balance (R2adj.=0.08, p<0.001), Cash balance (R2adj.=0.02, p<0.001). Factors not predict financial risk include: Quick Ratio, Cash ratio, Net Working Capital, Net Income.

Conclusion : These overall findings illustrate of financial resource and management efficiency was able to predict of financial risk with statistically significant.
