รายงานผู้ป่วยผู้ป่วยติดเชื้อหนอนพยาธิตัวจี๊ดในลูกตา

ผู้ป่วยชายไทยอายุ 43 ปี มาด้วยตาขวามัวลง 2 สัปดาห์ก่อนมาโรงพยาบาล ตรวจพบตัวพยาธิในช่องหน้าม่านตา ไม่เคยมีอาการบวมย้ายที่ชอบรับประทานอาหารสุกๆดิบๆ ผลตรวจเลือด ไม่มีภาวะ Eosinophilia ผู้ป่วยได้รับการ รักษาโดยการผ่าตัดเพื่อนำพยาธิออกจากลูกตาภายใต้การดมยาสลบและส่งตรวจด้วยกล้องจุลทรรศน์ พบว่าเป็นพยาธิ ตัวจี๊ด Gnathostoma spp หลังจากนั้นผู้ป่วยได้รับการรักษาด้วย ยา Albendazole 400 มก. สองครั้งต่อวันเป็นเวลา 21 วัน หลังการผ่าตัดและตรวจติดตามพบว่าการมองเห็นกลับมาดีขึ้น แต่ยังคงหลงเหลือพยาธิสภาพที่จอประสาทตา
