The research tools included arecord sheet for nutritional status and a questionnaire to elicit the patientsû nutritional adaptation and socialsupport.The obtained data were analyzed for Spearmanûs rank correlation coefficient.  The results of the studyshowed that Social support had a negative correlation with cholesterol. (r = -0.2657, p = .0310). Socialsupport had a negative correlation with nutritional adaptation; this, however, was not statistically significantlydifferent (r = -0.0526, p = .06745). ER -
