The sample of 146 parents and caregivers (90 with normal infant aged 3-12 months attended at well child clinic in Regional Health Promotion Center 5, Regional Health Promotion Center 6 and Khon Kean Hospital; and 56 with autistic children aged ≤ 6 years attended at Khon Kean Hospital and Nakhon Ratchasima Psychiatric Hospital) were recruited to the study. The instruments were interview questionnaire on personal data of parents or caregivers and of children and the Early Behavior of Autistic in Infant Assessment for parents. Data were analyzed by STATA program, using frequencies, percentages, and logistic regression statistics.  Results showed that the EAIP3-6 had the cut of point ≥3; sensitivity of 0.82; specificity of 0.76; and the reliability of 0.922. For the EAIP7-12, it had a cut-off point of ≥ 7; sensitivity of 0.96; specificity of 0.91, reliability of 0.919. The results indicated that both of the EAIP3-6 and EAIP 7-12 tools presented high sensitivity, specificity and reliability.  Both tools can be used for detecting early abnormal behaviors among autistic infants. </p> ER -
