Data were collected by using a Vietnamese version of ICU nurses’ skills and attitudes questionnaire developed by the researcher based on the framework of the Vietnam ICU nursing skills and the framework of safe patients of the Ministry of Health Vietnam. The reliabilities of the skill and attitude parts were 0.936 and 0.953, respectively. The study results indicated that the overall skills and attitudes of nurses were at high levels. All skills were at high levels except the skill for taking care of patients with electric shock, which was at moderate level. Nurses had high levels in all attitiude items. There were statistically differences of skills and attitudes among nurses in different ICU departments.</p> ER -
