The samples were patients with a closed extremity fracture in the accident and emergency department of Buayai Hospital in Buayai district, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and they were chosen by a consecutive sampling method. Data were obtained by using questionnaires concerning the perception of nurse’s caring. The data were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. It was found that the patients with a closed extremity fracture could perceive caring behavior at a high level.When considering each aspect, it revealed that the highest mean score was found for confidence dimension (X= 4.01, S.D. = 0.91), while that the lowest mean score was found for the relationship dimension (X= 3.86, S.D. = 0.91). The results of this study can be used as basic information for the accident and emergency department for planning and developing nurses’ caring behavior in order to promote more quality of service care.}, number={1}, journal={Journal of Nursing Science and Health}, author={Sangchart, Bumpenchit}, year={2017}, month={Apr.}, pages={77–86} }
