Participants were purposively selected in older grandparents in skipped-generation family in Nakhon Ratchasima province, northeast of Thailand, data collected by in-depth interviews with 40 participants. Data were analyzed using Diekelmann & Allen method with 7 steps. The results showed four major themes emerged regarding the lived experience of older grandparent raising teenage grandchildren in skipped-generation family were 1) Dependable grandchildren 2) Physical and mental assault 3) Disappointment and shame 4) Raising never ends 5) Misunderstanding 6) Cannot catch up. The majority problem of the older grandparent was physical and mental health problems. But the older grandparents try to maintain the role of the family with love for their children. Recommendation: Family nurses should provide proactive nursing care. In search of problems in skipped-generation family that the older grandparents raising their teenage grandchildren.
