Participants were 30 caregivers who<br>received 20-week self-help group developed by the researcher. The research tools included a handbook<br>for self-help group for caregivers of child patients with cerebral palsy and a questionnaire developed by<br>the researcher. The questionnaire comprised 2 sections: (1) demographic data and (2) caregivers’ quality<br>of life. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and paired-samples t-test.<br>Results: after participating in the self-help group, the caregivers of children with cerebral palsy had<br>higher mean scores of quality of life than before participating in the self-help group (p<.001).<br>Conclusion and reccommendation: Nursing care using the self-help group contributes to improve<br>quality of life of caregivers of child patients with cerebral palsy.
