The sampling group was 15 nurses, and 44 patients who admitted in pediatric intensive care unit. The research instruments were self-efficacy program. Data were analyzed using t-test. Results found that after the experiment: 1) The mean score on nurses their self-efficacy and their behaviors was statistically significant higher than before experiment (p<0.05) 2) The incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia was decreased from 18.32 to 13.19 per 1,000 days of ventilation using.

Self-efficacy program should be promoting perceived self-efficacy, and grouping by knowledge, ability and experience for more effective results.

Keyword:          perceived self-efficacy, ventilator-associated pneumonia
}, number={2}, journal={Journal of Nursing Science and Health}, author={เพ่งพิศ เกศราพร}, year={2017}, month={May}, pages={1–10} }
