The virus is spreading rapidly in many countries, including Thailand. Thirty eight pregnant women with COVID-19 were firstly reported in China. All confirmed pregnant women cases had got lung infection that increased in maternal morbidity and mortality rates. The common symptoms of COVID-19 were fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing, aches, sore throat, and runny nose. For patients with pneumonia can cause acute respiratory failure till death. Thus, the fetus and the newborn baby were at risk of premature birth, perinatal infection, and perinatal death. However, there was no evidence of vertical transmission from mother to child and negative SARS-CoV-2 was found in newborn secretions and breast milk.</p><p>The epidemic of COVID-19 has caused the Antenatal Department of Hua Hin Hospital to change service system process under the outbreak of COVID-19. &nbsp;Nurses are frontline health workers who use nursing process in care delivery including disease screening and providing nursing care services for pregnant women. Nursing process consists of assessment, diagnosis planning, implementation and finally evaluation. It covers all five dimensions which disease prevention for pregnant women from the fatal disease is most important. A pregnant woman is expected to take care of herself during pregnancy in the home and it is crucial that she gets the pregnancy supports and services she needed. Effective care during this critical period is likely to have most significant impact on reducing risks of complications, maternal and fetal survival and well-being.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> ER -
