Abstract

The creation of research is an important indicator of the country development. For this reason, many countries have standardized their researches to ensure that they are of sufficient quality and value. Two things that are frequently mentioned are ethics and the code of conduct in research, which are the foundation of practices that all researchers must learn before starting their research. To enhance the understanding of researchers in health science, this article has provided the definition of words regarding ethics and the code of conduct, problems related to the lack of ethics, punishments for ethical misconduct, and example of research violation; all of these are intended to guide and encourage the researchers to produce their works correctly and ethically.
