However, these behavioral risks could be prevented. The objective of this study was to compare health profiles and physical fitness in office workers before and 2 and 6 months after receiving physical activity promotion and break program from sitting. This study was a quasi-experimental research, one group pretest-posttest design. There were thirty-eight office workers volunteered to participate in the study. The inclusion and exclusion criteria were both male and female who aged 20-59years and they had working experience more than 2 years, no risk for exercise measured by Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ), no pregnancy and not received other health promotion or weight lossprogram. They received program which included 1) a program for modifying individualbehavior to increase physical activity and break from prolonged sitting (1-2 minutes per hour) 2) exercise program every 2 weeks 3) health promotion by LINE program for 6 months. Data analysis were used a one-way repeated measures ANOVA. Our results found significant reductions of waist to height ratio (WHtR), waist to hip ratio (WHR), total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesteral (LDL-C) and heart rate at minute 1 after the 3-minute step test (p < 0.05). These findings can be used for developing the health promotion program, policy and action plan for promoting physical activity and decreasing sedentary behavior in the workplace.</p>}, number={4}, journal={NU Journal of Nursing and Health Sciences}, author={Jalayondeja, Wattana and Jalayondeja, Chutima and Kaewkhuntee, Watesinee and Nuntapornsak, Amporn}, year={2019}, month={Dec.}, pages={91–106} }
