A total of 40 new Hyflex® CM files were randomly assigned to 4 groups (n=10). Group 1 was a control group with non-contact to solution and Group 2-4 were submitted in 2.5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), 17% ethylene<br>diaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), and 2% chorhexidine gluconate (CHX) respectively, at 37°C for 5 minutes. Then, all instruments were tested for cyclic fatigue resistance in the stainless steel artificial canal with a 60° angle of curvature and 5-mm radius of curvature. Files were rotated at the constant speed of 500 rpm with 2.5 N/cm torque. Numbers of rotation before fracture (NRF)<br>were recorded. Mean NRF of group 1 revealed the highest value, followed by group 4, group 3 and group 2, respectively. Statistic analysis revealed the resistance to cyclic fatigue of Hyflex® CM significantly reduced when immersed in all 3 root canal irrigants when compared with control group (p < 0.05).</p>}, number={1}, journal={Khon Kaen University Dental Journal}, author={Phuvoravan, Chalermkwan and Yamyindee, Pokklaw and Chaichanawanich, Ruethaichanok}, year={2019}, month={Jun.}, pages={26–33} }
