This study was divided into 3 phases: 1) Situational study phase; 2) Managing risk system development phase and 3) Evaluation phase. The participants for the research consists of 425 people which were comprised of nurses, and head nurses of nursing wards/departments. The research was conducted from October, 2015 to September, 2016. The data was collected through the general information questionnaires, the open-ended <br>questions, Incidence report forms, medication error report forms, and the patient safety culture questionnaires. The quantitative data was analyzed by using statistically: frequency distribution, percentage, mean, Mann-Whitney U test, and qualitative data was analyzed by content analysis. <br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The results of the situation regarding the risk phase found the factors that were due to lack of awareness among the staff, they did not follow the guidelines, and laid down with work fatigue. When the risk happened, they need the acceptance, quick troubleshooting, gave their morale and helped them to managing risk by the risk management team. The results of this study were applied to development of managing risk systems, such as improving the managing risk system framework, supervision and RCA at work place. As for the process of managing risk system, the following were the incidence of physical and complaint risks were likely to decrease, while the risk from the work process was likely to increase. The medical administration error rate behaved differently at 0.05 level of significant. (p&lt;.05), while the infection <br>rate was found that there was not behaved differently at 0.05 level of significant. (p&lt;.05). However the result was found that the thinking, the attitude and the positive perceptions on managing risk about nursing and patients safety culture of nurses had increased.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The effective of managing risk system can developed by taking participate in their accountability, focusing on using work instruction, managing work systems for decrease errors and make the happy workplace.</p> ER -
