The purpose of this descriptive research was to study factors affecting the health consumer
protection performance among village health volunteers in Sukhothai Province. The samples were 352
village health volunteers in Sukhothai Province, which selected by using a multi-stage random sampling
technique. The questionnaire was employed for data collection and analyzed by using the descriptive
statistics and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that the knowledge and the
attitude of health consumer protection, as well as health consumer protection performance, were at
a moderate level, while role perceptions of health consumer protection, social support, and motivation
were at a high level. The role perceptions of health consumer protection was the strongest predictor of
health consumer protection performance among village health volunteers (Beta = 0.341), followed by
motivation (Beta = 0.288), using the single window application (Beta = 0.131) and the knowledge was
a significant negative factor (Beta = -0.104). These variables can predict health consumer protection
performance among village health volunteers at 38.4% with a significant level of 0.05.
