The participants answer the questionnaire regarding physician practice on smoking cessation. We used chi-square for comparison between factors which were associated with physician practice and used descriptive statistics for other data. </span></span></span></strong><strong><strong></strong></strong><p align="justify">Results</p><strong><span style="font-size: large;"><strong></strong><span style="font-family: UPC-Cordia,UPC-Cordia; font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: UPC-Cordia,UPC-Cordia; font-size: large;">: There were 1,219 participants (76.2%) who said they were asked about their smoking behavior and 1,155 participants (72.2%) claimed physician advised them to stop smoking. Only 156 participants (9.8%) reported physicians helped them quit smoking. When compared among specialists, psychiatrists asked about smoking behavior more than others, whereas internal medicine specialists advised about smoking cessation more than others. For arrange, internal medicine specialists and psychiatrists provided more than others. However there was no difference on assist among specialists. We also found that 86.5% of participants did not want any help for quit smoking. </span></span></span></strong><strong><strong></strong></strong><p>Conclusion</p><strong><span style="font-size: large;"><strong></strong><span style="font-family: UPC-Cordia,UPC-Cordia; font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: UPC-Cordia,UPC-Cordia; font-size: large;">: Most of physicians ask and advice their patients to stop smoking but do not provide any assistance for the patients. </span></span></span></strong> ER -
